Steamed egg is a Korean food that is made by egg with salt and pickled shrimp sauce. There are many ways to make steamed eggs, but today we will cook them by adding kelp and milk to a clay pot to make it softer, seasoning with pickled shrimp sauce, and cooked in a double boiler.
INGREDIENTS
5 eggs, 1 tablespoon cooking oil, 1 tablespoon cooking wine,
1 teaspoon pepper, 1 teaspoon pickled shrimp sauce, 1/4 chives,
1 teaspoon black sesame seeds, 200 ml of kelp dip water, 200 ml of milk

Break 5 eggs and stir well. Then, add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil to the clay pot.

Stir in 200 ml of prepared kelp water. For kelp water, add 1 to 2 pieces of kelp to 200 ml of water.
Then, add 1 tablespoon of cooking wine, 1 teaspoon of pepper, and 1 teaspoon of pickled shrimp. Stir again.

Wrap the clay pot with cooking foil and make 3-4 holes. Prepare a pot that is large enough to fit, and pour water over the pot so as not to overflow. Then, put the clay pot in the large pot and close the lid.

Steam it for 20 minutes in medium heat, and you’ll have a smooth and delicious Korean steam eggs.
KOREAN STEAMED EGG WITH CLAY POT RECIPE
Ingredients

Conclusion
The steamed egg was too soft without egg smell. It was more savory because of adding milk, and it was salted with pickled shrimp. There is also a simpler way to cook using a microwave oven, but the way to cook it with a clay pot is a deeper and more savory taste of steamed egg.
