Notes
You have to soak the vermicelli at last 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 4 servings: 250g vermicelli (thin rice noodles), 120g small shrimp, 150g octopus, 1/3 carrot, 1/4 cabbage, 1/6 broccoli, 3 eggs, 1 tablespoon of chopped garlic, 1 teaspoon of chicken powder , 4 tablespoons light soy sauce, 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce, 1 tablespoon sugar, 1 teaspoon five spices powder
Instructions
- 1. Soak vermicelli in cold water for at least 30 minutes.
- 2. Stir-fry with cooking oil and 1 tablespoon of chopped garlic. After the garlic is well roasted, add the chopped octopus and small shrimp, fry together with the garlic, and put in a bowl.
- Break 3 eggs, stir and make scrambled eggs, then place in a bowl. Then fry the sliced vegetables.
- 3. Take the vermicelli that was soaked in water and put it with all the ingredients.
- 4. Add 1 teaspoon of chicken powder, 1 teaspoon of five spices powder, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 4 tablespoons of light soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon of dark soy sauce.
Conclusion
It tastes similar to Korean japchae. But the sauce is different, so it’s definitely like Southeast Asian food. The seafood and vegetables are fried in soy sauce and are salty and delicious without much oil. It’s easy to cook and it’s good to cook it once when you are fed up with noodle soup.
