An exquisite encounter between chicken and tteokbokki. This menu became a hot topic when it appeared at the TV show Alley Restaurant in Korea. A menu at the border between Spicy chicken soup and Tteokbokki. I was curious about the taste, so I made it. Then shall we make it together?
Chicken Tteokbokki ingredients
300g of lean chicken leg, 1 green onion, 1/2 onion, 2 kelp, 1/8 cabbage,
Tteokbokki rice cake 300g, 3 fish cakes, 5 sesame leaves, 2 tablespoons of red pepper paste, 3 tablespoons of red pepper powder,
2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon chopped garlic, 1/2 tablespoon oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon spicy curry powder
1/2 tablespoon pepper, 3 tablespoons oligosaccharide, a little salt, 600ml water

CHICKEN TTEOKBOKKI RECIPE WITH SEASONING SECRET
Notes
It tastes better if you mix it with seaweed powder and fried egg.
Ingredients
- 300g of lean chicken leg, 1 green onion, 1/2 onion, 2 kelp, 1/8 cabbage,
- Tteokbokki rice cake 300g, 3 fish cakes, 5 sesame leaves, 2 tablespoons of red pepper paste, 3 tablespoons of red pepper powder,
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon chopped garlic, 1/2 tablespoon oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon spicy curry powder
- 1/2 tablespoon pepper, 3 tablespoons oligosaccharide, a little salt, 600ml water
Instructions
- 1. Cut green onion, cabbage, onion and sesame leaves. Roll the sesame leaves and slice them thinly.
- 2. Cut the fish cake and chicken leg into bite-sized pieces and season the chicken leg with a little pepper and salt.
- 3. Add cooking oil and grill the chicken thighs. Add 2 tablespoons of red pepper paste and fry in oil first. Then, stir-fry with the chicken thighs.
- 4. Add 3 tablespoons of red pepper powder, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, 1/2 tablespoon of oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon of spicy curry powder and 600ml of water and boil. Put 2 kelp in the middle and boil.
- 5. Add the sliced onion, cabbage and green onions. Then, add tteokbokki rice cake and fish cake and boil. Add 3 tablespoons of oligosaccharide and some black pepper and mix well. Put the chicken tteokbokki in a bowl and then add the sliced sesame leaves to make a delicious chicken tteokbokki.
Conclusion
The tender chicken thighs are really delicious and the spicy and sweet soup was really good. It is good to eat with rice, but it is also good with liquor. It is really delicious if you put seaweed powder and fried egg in rice and mix it in the soup. It is a menu that can be used at home, so I recommend you try it once.
