Let’s make a national side dish, spicy braised tofu. There are two ways to cook tofu by frying the tofu once and pouring seasoning, or by simmering seasoning without frying the tofu.

DUBU JORIM(SPICY BRAISED TOFU) RECIPE
Notes
If you add cheongyang pepper, it will be more spicy.
Ingredients

Instructions
- 1. Slice the tofu, onions and green onions. The tofu is well crushed, so don’t cut it too thinly.
- 2. Add the chopped tofu, onions and green onions. Then add 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, 1 tablespoon of salted shrimp, 1/2 tablespoon of minced ginger, 2 tablespoons of red pepper powder, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of pepper and 200 ml of water and boil.
- 3. When the broth boils, add 1 tablespoon of cooking wine and 1 tablespoon of perilla oil and boil until the soup is boiled down.
Conclusion
It’s really easy to cook delicious tofu. It is slightly spicy with spicy red pepper powder, and it is not sweet because it does not add sugar. If you like sweetness, you can add about 1 tablespoon of sugar. If you add cheongyang pepper, you can get a spicy. The dubu jorim that anyone can easily make. I highly recommend it.
