MAPO TOFU RECIPE AND SEASONING WITH DOUBANJIANG AND TIANMIAN

I eat mapo tofu often because it is relatively easy to cook among tofu dishes and tastes good. Today, I will make mapo tofu by adding dubanjang and chunjang. It definitely tastes different from what I’ve had before. So, shall we try making it together?

1 tofu, 1 tablespoon red pepper oil, 2 tablespoons sesame oil, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, 1 teaspoon minced ginger, 1 tablespoon doubanjiang, 1 tablespoon tianmian sauce, 200g ground pork, 1 teaspoon chicken stock, 500ml water, 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon sugar, 1/2 tablespoon white pepper, 2 tablespoons starch, 4 tablespoons water, 1/2 green onion

Finely chop the green onion. Tofu is cut into dice.

Blanch the cut tofu in boiling water. Blanch slightly and set aside in a bowl. Blanching it like this will make the tofu hard.
